Already established in my career, I chose to return to the academic setting in Autumn 2024 to pursue a field better aligned with my passions and value system. My experience working for a local medical practice as an Executive Assistant for six years has given me unique project management, organization, and problem-solving skills that translate seamlessly into design.

I believe design has the power to transform lives in powerful ways. As a designer, I am deeply interested in Civic Design and Place Making, driven by a desire to bring people together in unity, meet their physical needs, and provide systems and programs that enrich their lives.

My work is often influenced by my deep connection with family and my love for literature, as I spend much of my time investing in my familial relationships and exploring a wide range of written mediums. I have spent much of my life writing, working mainly in poetry and lyric form, and have enjoyed incorporating my literary work into design projects.
